Getting Your Barrel Horse Broke
In today's highly competitive barrel racing arena, the difference between 1st place and 50th place might only be a few tenths of a second. To get the absolute best from your horse and yourself, Bogie will show you how to:
- gain respect on the ground
- work a horse in the round pen
- use the lunge line to reinforce lessons from the saddle
- learn to use your body to shape the horse's movements
- lighten the horse's response to the bridle
- use your body weight to move your horse on the barrel pattern
Clinic will be held at the Webb Ranch near Volin, SD.
Cost will be $350 for 2 days.
Non-refundable deposit of $100 due by April 10th.
Auditing fee: $25/day with no horse
Stalls available for $25 for both nights.
