2005 and prior news:

BW Dashin Chamique, won over $6500 including the Reserve Championship at the High Pains Barrel Futurity at Torrington, Wyo, and won the HFBI at the Hawki Futurity in Greenfield, Ia. His other colt running this year, Firewater Ze, ridden by Arlene Leach, won the 1st go of the Sunrise Futurity Amateur Division.

Elvis colts have gone on and proven themselves also in the rodeo arena. Tees Dashin Shadow, the 2001 Bold Heart Breeders Futurity Champion, ridden by Robin Webb, is currently 2nd in the Central Plains Region in Intercollegiate Rodeo competition. They concluded a very successful High School Rodeo career last year, finishing in the top 15 in the nation in pole bending, but would have actually won the pole bending except for hitting a pole in the short round. Cash Cadillac, ridden by Kendall Riediger made his debut as a 5 year old in the calf roping at amateur rodeos in the Midwest. Dashin For Par, the 2002 Sunrise Breeders Futurity Champion, is competing with the Martin sisters in High School Rodeos in Colorado, and College rodeos in Oklahoma. Dashin Higher and Karen Henry have won the 1D at numerous barrel races this past year. The list goes on.

From 2001-2004 when the first Dashin Elvis colts were eligible for barrel futurity competition, Toni Hardin has ridden a Dashin Elvis colt to a futurity Championship. These have been out of 2 different mares and at 3 different futurities. We appreciate the professionalism and excellent care she has given our horses.
