CURRENT BREEDING SEASON __________(season ends July 1st)

• Mare owner hereby agrees to breed their mare_____________________Reg.No.___________________ age _____ to the above named stud, utilizing cooled shipped semen, and paying the stallion service fee stated above. A non-refundable booking fee of $200 is payable WITH THIS CONTRACT which will reserve for the Mare Owner a breeding by means of shipped semen for the current season.
• PRIOR TO SHIPMENT, the Mare Owner must pay the following: Booking fee, balance of the stud fee, and a $250 collection/shipping fee for each Federal Express priority shipment. Webb Ranches will provide a pre-paid Federal Express airbill for the equitainer return. Please return promptly.
• Webb Ranches does not require a deposit on the equitainer, but in the event the equitainer is not returned, a $300 fee will be charged.
• Webb Ranches will collect the stallion on regularly scheduled breeding days during the breeding season. The use of cooled semen is a new emerging technology and no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied, is given. No guarantee of delivery within a certain time period nor the quality of the semen at arrival is given.
• The Mare Owner agrees to furnish a copy of the mare's registration papers, shipped semen forms and other information as Webb Ranches requests. The Mare Owner represents that the mare is healthy and in sound breeding condition and registered with the designated registration organization.
• This contract provides for a return breeding in the succeeding year only, for a mare (or agreed upon substitute) that fails to produce a live foal. This may be satisfied at the sole option of Webb Ranches by 1) shipping semen, or 2) Webb Ranches may require the rebreeding to be performed at Webb Ranches, or by 3) refunding the stallion service fee less the booking fee in lieu of a return breeding. Webb Ranches shall be notified in writing within 10 days and sent a veterinary certificate from the attending veterinarian if a live foal is not produced.
• The Mare Owner agrees to use the semen shipped solely to breed the designated mare in accordance with the breeding contract and registry rules.
• It is further agreed that should the stallion die or become unfit for service, this contract shall become null and void, and any money paid as part of the stallion service fee shall be refunded to the Mare Owner.

We must be notified by 9:00 AM the day before you need the semen. It is our intent to ship that day for next day delivery.  We collect every other day during breeding season.

 Please call us to find out the current breeding schedule BEFORE you think you will need the semen so your vet can synchronize your mares’ cycle to the collection days.
